Origin of Magnetism Explained

For nearly two centuries now, physics knows mathematical model for magnetic force between conductors with current. This model has been deduced by French scientist Andr-Marie Ampre based on experiments, and it shows how magnetic force depends on intensity of currents and distance between conductors.

Although this was one of the most decisive steps ahead ever made in science - it was short lived, regarding deepening of our understanding of magnetism. That understanding basically remained on the level reached by Ampre himself.

While Ampere's model establishes certain relations between variables involved with electrical currents, problem is that the underlying cause of magnetism is not explained at all. The model offers hypothesis that electrical currents form magnetic field around conductors, alleging that this field is the one that causes magnetic force.

Serious logical problem is that electrical current is simply flow of electricity. Like a flow of water in a pipe. Then why should simple displacement of electricity produce anything at all, let alone a new physical field that is capable of exerting force on other bodies with current? This is extremely weak point of Ampre's magnetism theory.

What is the cause of magnetic force?

A new theory from masstheory.org website deals with synchronicity of interactions, which is applicable to all physical fields. Underlying idea is that there is a time-lag in all interactions, directly caused by finite speed at which information travels. For example, when one body changes position, it takes some time until this information reaches other bodies it interacts with. This means that position of bodies in space is not known to them in real time, causing them to affect each other with forces which are not time-synchronized. When expressed mathematically, an expression can be derived that has two addends - one is well known electrostatic force, and the second has much smaller intensity, and depends on the velocity of the observed body. This second addend represents magnetic force.

Thus the real underlying cause of magnetism is fully explained with clear logic, as the only requirement in the derivation is that information travels with finite speed.

Furthermore, this model is equally applicable on gravity, showing that gravity has a dynamic component unknown until now, and which is analogous with magnetic force. Experimentally this force has been known to exist in the form of Pioneer anomaly, but its nature has been a complete mystery until now.
